steering hub #3901310 vs 3930062

original hub # off my 67 is 3901310 and from what i gather the 3930062 is a replacement? anyone with first hand knowledge on fitment?

1967 Red/Red RS/SS 350 4 speed

I can't reference your exact hub part numbers. But I do know that the steering wheel construction varied through the years. Your 1967 Camaro simulated walnut rim steering wheel should have had the 9 and 3 o'clock spokes as one stamping. The 6 o'clock spoke should have been a seperate piece that was spot welded in place. This would have made a double thickness of metal where the two stampings were joined together. A "two piece" spoke steering wheel would have required a clearance cutout at the 6 o'clock position on the hub for the double thinkness of metal whereh the spokes were joined.

Earlier one-piece spoked steering wheels would have had a hub without a cutout.

I don't know if that relates to your two hub part numbers or not.
