calvert split mono vs hotchkis whats the difference

i need new springs for the 67 mono leaf i have, i was all set till reading about calvert. so why would one buy the calvert split mono leaf spring instead of a hotchkis 1.5 lowering spring or even the 3" spring? my understand is the mono had alot of wheel hop so its better to go with the multileaf. any infor would be appreciated.

Re: calvert split mono vs hotchkis whats the difference

Calvert's tend to be a drag racing spring where Hotchkis are more about cornering... Both will reduce spring wrap and the resulting wheel hop on launch.
