Any help in identifying original rear 68 springs and how to identify the different spring rates would be appreciated. Have info from CRG now need to figure out how to verify.

On the multi leafs the originals have an indentation for the insulators to index into, the cheap repos have a hole that the insulators snap into. The expensive repo's are like OE.

Thanks, indents vs holes. What about spring rates and part numbers? Anyone have an idea how to determine?

Re: Identifying Original from Repro Rear Leafsprings

springs aren't marked with any part numbers, or any other way to visually idnetify them. Originaly they had a different color paint stripe on the front end near the bushing so the guys on the line knew which set to grab, but those didn't last very long, and service parts may or may not have the same color stripes, if they had them at all.
