Question 69 Camaro aftermarket Steering Wheel Questions...

Okay guys... im running a grant steering wheel in my 69 and with the adapter ect it brings the wheel almost 5inches closer to the seat.. does anyone know of a company that makes a wheel that isn't gonna need that adapter or even a shorter steering setup that will take care of this? Its a prostreet car and its a pain to get in with the wheel back that much further. But im maintaining the stock appearing look with the dash,seats,door panels,ect. So im not looking to go crazy... thanks for any info

Hi There!

Which Grant Wheel?
Some of them are pretty deep!

Im using a LeCarra 91201
With adapter this is aprox. 2 3/4 out from where the nut sits inside of adapter!

But i think Grant has several types.

Here's my LeCarra;
I can't give you a model number because it's 32 years old. It's leather wrapped, but aren't they all? It protrudes less than the stock wheel and is 14". Hope this helps.
