tilt column

Im planning to convert my 69 Z - straight column, manual steering box to a tilt column with a power steering box. I have purchased a power steering box - what else do I need to be aware of or buy besides a tilt column.

Appreciate your advise

Eddie, you need a power steering rag joint. It's different than the manual one. You can find nos on ebay from 150-200.

Re: tilt column

Power steering pump and lines. Are you going with the IROC box?

Re: tilt column

The tilt column takes a different ignition switch than the non tilt column. So don't think you can use your switch on the column you are buying.

Re: tilt column

When i converted to tilt column guy at the junk yard told me a Buick Riveira would bolt in an sure enough it fit perfectly and there were twice as many Buicks in the yard compared to Camaro tilts. Just make sure its the same year.
