Disc brake value

I was wondering what the approx value of
A 4 piston disc brake set up is worth. Here is what
It comes with:

1968 camaro set up
2 complete calipers with SS sleeves - mint
2 two original rotor and hubs - well within spec for use
1 new rotor
1 original power break booster
1 master cylinder
All new front break lines
all break line brackets
Mint original backing plates
Mint dust shields with serial no's
Proportioning valve
Both regulating blocks

Entire kit came off 68 396 car that unfortunately was
Parted out.

Any help is appreciated?

Re: Disc brake value

I don't know, but a starting point is figure out the price for the same parts new and take 50% off that. Not sure if mint means new in box or installed but in great shape? Will make a big difference.

Re: Disc brake value

Mint means it was just refurbished and ready to be installed.

Re: Disc brake value

$1K, but must be in really great bolt-on condition though.

Re: Disc brake value

Great. I paid $600. He also is giving me spare rotors/hubs and an unrestored master cylinder for BB. I have photos of everything inside and out and it
Is nicer than either set I have on my 67's. thanks
For the info...

Re: Disc brake value

$600 is a great price! I put together a JL8 setup for my front brakes and they cost about the same, but I already had most of the secondary parts (FDB MC, power booster, lines, hold off valve and rear prop valve. The rear prop valve really brought the entire system performance together, I highly recommend them.

You're money/performance/looks/originality ahead with the true 67-68 4 piston brake system. It's way better than the 69 single slider.

The only old issue with the GM 4 piston setup was the leaky piston bores, and your set is already sleeved.

Now all you need are the proper offset disc brake rally rims and you'll be all set.
