whatza Radius Arm?

..Mechanic's asking me to get the "radius arm" for my 67 RS/SS Conv.
It's the rod going from a brkt welded on axle on passenger side to ( i guess) underside of floor toward front?? Only one on passenger side..It's missing and I need to order one..I looked in AIM and cannot find it..Could someone give me the correct name..I've tried searching it up at Classic's, Summit's etc..no radius arm for 1st gen's..Thanks

This link will tell you all about it.

Is your car a stock resto? I ask because if you plan on spinning much tire, the radius rod is more of a conversation piece than an actual traction aid. It's nowhere near as effective as a pair of regular old traction bars in my experience.

'67 rs - ordered new by my Grandfather
327 L30, K-K, Deluxe int, tach & gauges, 12 bolt posi, 4 speed.

Re: whatza Radius Arm?

The factory radius rod is better than nothing on a mono leaf V8 car.

Especially if the car is just going to be driven in a normal everyday regular transportation fashion.

Here's a look at everything you need if you have nothing.
