I just finished installing 2000 Corvette calipers on my 69rs and would like to know if anyone else has done so and what kind of problems you had.

putting the PBR 2 piston calipers on older cars is getting fairly common. i don't think i have ever read anything bad about them, other than trying to find the perfect master cylinder to use with it.

Did they bolt right on the stock locations or did you have to use some kind of an adapter? What rotors are you using? Any way to get some pistures of the install?

hey Bill

I used the stock disc brake spindle and the 70 corvette rotor (as described on David Pozzi CBB page). I made a bracket that bolts to the stock disc brake bracket location. the only mod I had to make was to the caliper bracket itself, which was to heat and bend it where the bracket with the outer hub portion of the rotor. I had to bend it about a 1/16 of an inch to get the pads to sit far enough down on the rotor. This allowed me to run the factory 15x7 ralley wheels (stealth mode)with about 1/8 clearance. My scanner is not working but I will put some pictures up at a latter date. Thanks for the interest.
