On power steering car, what is the center to center distance of the arm ?. The old one measures 5.750 ?. Some of the camaro parts houses list the 5.750 as the manual steering arm. Is there a different part number for non-Z 69 camaro power steering arms.

The standard manual or non-fast ratio power pitman is 5.2" c-c.

Manual steer Z/28s used a 5.75" c-c pitman in conjunction with shorter steering arms. 69 SS & Z/28 with power steering (fast-ratio) used a 5.75" pitman and the shorter arms.

Steering arms differ for drum & disc brakes.

Manual & power pitmans are different.

manual pitman has a smaller steering shaft hole. There are two lengths for manual, two for power steer.
Click on my suspension page link, then click on "steering linkage" for Moog replacement part numbers for your arm. They are available from local parts stores.
