Question

Ok... 69 camaro stock 4 wheel manual drum brakes-
I have the whole front disk setup from a 72 Elcamino(a-body) including Booster, MC, Spindles, Rotors, Calipers, Clips, Lines, prop valve, etc etc. We pulled everything off.

Besides getting new hard lines to re-bend so this stuff will fit in the camaro, is there anything else i need to get to make this swap work?

Will the braket that holds the stock drum brake distribution block under the MC work for the Disk brake prop valve/dist block?

Thanks-
Ben

Question

TTT- Did Anybody got their disks from an A-body?

Specifically I want to know-

1. Will there be a problem wtiht he Booster/MC hitting the hood? I read somewehre that the Booster mounting brackets might be different

2. Can I re-use some of the hard lines, or will all the lines up front have to be fabricated to work?

Thanks-
Ben

i did mine with a 71-2 monte single piston and had no problem..booster dont hit the hood, used hard lines already on car ,even used the prop valve from the old drum setup it was a square one not roundish ...the new brake hoses fit the old hard lines ..since the prop valve was relocated because of the booster spacing from the firewall a little fanaggling went on there...but i didnt have to cut and redo anything..stops like a dream
