What is the bearing called that sits at the bottom of the steering coloumn? And the hub that it sits in?

Both are shot and I need to replace them. Can I get these at the dealer?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave, the bottom bearing isn't offered anywhere that I can find. I don't think they're made anymore. I've seen them on EBay but very rarely.
I think there is a suitable replacement from a Jeep, but I can't remember which years.

Here's a past thread on the subject....

Can I get clarification on what he is looking for? I am not sure I understand the part he describes.

He answered himself in another post:

The bearing is on the steering shaft itself, inside the column body. It's a couple inches above the steering shaft to steering box coupler. I've heard lots of people looking for them and Dave is the first to ever get one from the dealer!
Thanks for the part number Dave!
