I am looking at a 1995 rear end with 3.42 gear ratio. Will this rear end fit my 1968 camaro?

it might fit, if you weld the mounts on. i have no idea how wide they are. but, once you have it in, you will have a smallish 7.5 ring gear- smaller than the 8.2 that came stock in older camaros, but i think the new rears are stronger than the old rears.

the early Camaros are 54.25 and the newer ones are 59.25. You would have to use offset rims. The newer ones do have a better posi unit but they are a lot weaker than the early 8.2s. The housing is also smaller and you would have to design a spring perch
