I am looking for someone to restore a brake booster/master cylinder setup from my 69 camaro. I would like to reuse the original equipment. Also a power steering pump. Anyone recommend a good restoration shop?

For the booster and master, send them to Jerry MacNeish. www.z28camaro.com For the power steering, don't know. Here's a place, but I have never dealt with them. www.powersteering.com

Good question...I'd like some suggestions on how to resto the brake booster at home...short of sending it to be re-plated. has anyone tried the expensive ($80?) spray paint that's supposed to replicate the original gold cadmium finish? Any good?

Sleepy-69, I've had good luck with Eastwood's Gold Cad system. It consists of four cans of paint (tint) that you spray on the piece. It's about $40.00 and works good. However, if you do it wrong, it will stand out like a sore thumb... Look at my links below. My Z11 is painted while my Z28 is plated. Can hardly tell them apart. I can also direct you to some others that are on our website if you like.
Sorry the picture does not show the booster very well at all...
