I have a v6 conv. camaro with 3:42 gear ratio (this one does not have limited slip or traction control)rear axle. I had some problems with it. so I changed it out to a 3:42 gear ratio with limited slip and traction control rear end I bought from someone.
My original rear axle had 1 brake line 1 speed sensor switch. The one I bought has 2 wheel speed sensor (1 at each wheel) and seperate brake lines per wheel.
I connected 1 brake line for both wheels (like my old one was) and use only 1 of the speed sensors. I tried this but I get a low traction light and a brake light when I go over 10 miles an hour. I believe this is due to the difference in speed sensors. can I go to the dealer and have them program this sensor for my car, or is there an after market item that will let me use this rear axle I am not concerned if the traction control works or not I was told it would not on my car, but this is ok. any help you can give me would be appreciated.
