i just purchased a used set of fat man fabs' upper and lower control arms from a guy in my local paper.i noticed they do not have a spring pocket on the lower arm.isn't there supposed to be one?does anyone have these control arms that can help me out.maybe a pic?also do the shocks have to go in before the springs?any help would be great.

I'm pretty sure those arms use a coil over setup (coil and shock integrated into one unit) which likely attaches to the lower arm with a bolt. You might try to contact the maufacturer to be sure which parts will fit:

My lowers have a tube (~2" tall) that slips up
"inside the spring" that keeps the spring in place. Any doubts call Fatman 704-545-0369 They can answer your installation questions.
