Front coil spring spacer

Put all new front suspension on my 69 and after it settled to final ride height it was a little low,in front. Measured to bottom of wheel opening it was 24 3/4. Put in global west number 1103 1/2 spacer and it is now at 25 3/4 just perfect. Top of tire is just even with bottom of opening. I use the spring compressor tool, loaner from advance auto parts, it worked, but not as i have read on here from others that did the same thing. Spring would only come up about 1 inch and the spring compressor seemed like that was about all it could go, so had to unbolt the control arms and drop them down to finish installation. A little more work than planned on but all turned out great. So the 1/2 spacer raised up the front 1 inch.
