Anybody have pics of original 68 disc brakes?

I've found lots of pictures of 69's but does anybody have some good underhood pictures of a 68 with original disc brakes. I'm interested to see the details of the MC and the brake lines connected to it. Some I've seen have coils in them and others don't.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Anybody have pics of original 68 disc brakes?

Here are a few pics I took of the brakes on my SSRS as I was restoring it. They're not the best pictures but hopefully they will help..

The lines are quite a bit different on 69. Check post #800 in Chick's build thread.

Re: Anybody have pics of original 68 disc brakes?

I forgot to mention Jim, depending how correct you want it, there's 2 different styles of hold-off valves (some incorrectly call it proportioning valve) located on the side of the MC available. The cars build date would determine which one was used if you want absolute correctness. Either one will work just the same, though. Here's more info and pics....

Thanks Garth, I do want it to be correct. I have a later build 04D so I'll try to find the correct one.
