Power Brake Booster

I need toreplace my original brake booster. Does the 8 or 9" boosters have any advantage over the stock 11"? I have 427 and need as much vac as I can. I like the look of the chrome as well

Re: Power Brake Booster

Brake booster works on surface area. The bigger the diaphragm the less pedal effort required. It takes nearly four times the pedal effort of an 11 inch booster to operate a 7 inch booster that has only 28% of the area.

You could consider it to be a leg press for your right leg, and if you installed a super stiff spring pressure Borg & Beck pressure plate in the clutch for your left leg it would prevent you walking in a circle due to your right leg being over developed, more than your left leg.
