booster

Hi everyone,
Quick question,
I can remove the power booster with great difficulty but I can't figure out how I'm ever going to put it back on.!!!
The four 9/16th nuts are almost impossible to get to taking them off. How does a person get the nuts back on. too tight for my hand to fit. Tried various different sockets, wrenches, specialty tools.
Any tricks of the trade somebody could suggest?
Thanks in advance for any ideas

Steve

Got to suck it up and get your hand down there. If hood is off it's easier. Have to put your hand down behind with palm of hand facing rear of car. True bitch and a half to get them started but that's all you need to do. Just walk away when you start getting frustrated.

Unhappy Re: booster

Not the answer I wanted to hear but it's what I expected. Hoping for a miracle cure I guess.
If there is a will, there is a way.
Going to hardware store to buy extra washers and nuts. I think I'm going to need them

Re: booster

Use a grandchild or a neighbor's kid.
Or, maybe Wife would help ... going out on a limb here.

Or, hang the booster on the end of studs and start nut with just a couple threads, then wrench on nuts further.

Re: booster

Thanks guys,
All excellent responses.
I'm teaching my granddaughter six, how to use a wrench and how not to scratch grandpa's Camaro. Wife-no,no,no,no,no
Also tried every wrench I have to find the best one. Getting close!!
Everett, that's exactly what I plan on doing.

Thanks again guys, you re-motivated me to carry on.

Re: booster

If you put your tongue just and curse out load it helps.

Or put a dap of sticky whatever on the tip of your finger to hold the nut
