Rear parking brake cable bracket ???

Does anyone know if the parking brake cable bracket circled in the photo below is sold by itself anywhere or if it is only available riveted to a new passenger side shock plate?

Only the passenger side shock plate uses the riveted bracket. The driver's side uses a different bracket that attaches to one of the shock plate attaching bolts......everywhere I have looked, I only see the driver's side bracket offered.

I believe you could use the driver's side bracket on the passenger side but I would rather have the correct one.

Thanks.......Dave

The bracket you have is for mono leafs, I don't know if this is what you're looking for but its used for multi leafs and bolts to one of the U bolts or T bolts.

Re: Rear parking brake cable bracket ???

Simon, thanks for the reply and the link.

Yes, I have the mono-leaf bracket on my car. In the photo of my car below, you can see just a piece of the original broken off bracket riveted to the passenger side shock plate.

The bracket in your link is for the driver's side on a mono-leaf car. Section 5, page C2 of the AIM shows the bolt-on bracket in your link p/n 3923533 on the driver's side and the riveted bracket I am looking for p/n 3895206.

As I was typing this reply, I stopped for a minute to Google the 3895206 part number. Two NOS showed up on Ebay. One for $19.99 and free shipping....and one for $55.96 and $8.00 shipping. Guess which one I just bought?

Problem solved!

Thanks.....Dave
