Ididit column firewall seal issue?

Just went to do the column install... I have a tilt ididit column bought from MCB. I went to double check I had everything ready by checking factory assembly manual and noticed a problem. On page 130 of the manual it says to make sure the seal is rolled out like view B in the bottom right of the page. My seals hole (the triangular seal D) is about a millimeter larger than the column shaft diameter. Anyone seen this? I suppose I need either make one that fits the narrower column or maybe the OER one I got from classic is wrong? Have been searching google and havenít found much. Hence my post. Also thought maybe Iím missing an additional seal.

Re: Ididit column firewall seal issue?

As an update, ididit got back to me and is sending a 1/8th inch shim kit for free that goes around the shaft. Hopefully that solves it.
