Re: Factory Tilt Steering column advice :)

I believe all GM tilt wheels from the era will work, if you can fine one, from a Buick or Olds column shift. I took one out of a Chevy van for my C-10 pick up, a bit longer but no big deal. The car doesn't care where it came from!!!! Nice looking car and have fun with it.

I looked closely at the colums in the pics and I dont see the OEM camaro levers on them
additionally none of the sellers apparently know how to properly photograph thier items
so I am not laying out cash until I know what I'm getting,,again, anyone have a tilt column they pulled directly out of a 67 CAMARO?

heres a pic of OEM tilt levers

Re: Factory Tilt Steering column advice :)

Thanks Brian,!
although I do think these levers simply screw out IIRC,,,but the question is "why" and I dont like asking why,,it tends to lower the value
of an item for each question I have to ask

Re: Factory Tilt Steering column advice :)

This one has decent pictures imo. The tilt lever screws out. It is a floor shift column. You could also contact them and ask if they have a column shift tilt

Check with Heartbeat City. They have several GM tilt columns already rebuilt.
