Power steering box adapters

Yeah, should be common... From what I see everyone is swapping from the original box to an Iroc box or some aftermarket version. I'm using a factory box and have a -6 with my new Holley front runner set up. I'm wanting to just use a -6 line with an adapter fittings on the original power steering box.

1969 camaro power steering box....

I've done some digging and wanted make sure this is what I needed before I ordered it...

Also, is the power steering cooler normally ran on the pressure side or the return side?

Below is a pic of my power steering box, I'm assuming it's original. No telling on a 49 year old car. I threw some kind of plug on it to help seal it while it set up for a while...

Re: Power steering box adapters

The casting numbers would help identify if it is original.

5691676- google shows it to be a common box for these cars...

so I'm thinking it's a 11/16-18 inverted flare and a 5/8-18 inverted flare

Dang Shad, you have your Holley stuff in before I do? LOL Have been too busy with work and other stuff to do it. Getting ready for some other changes also..... Nothing drastic, just making what I have better ;-) Hope to be able to see you guys at CTC.
