Removing power steering lines from steering box
Is there a special tool or trick to removing the power steering lines from the steering box?
I have a '69 396 with exhaust manifolds, I have a set of line wrenches with pivoting heads put there is practically no room to loosen the lines from the box. To get the wrenches on the flare nuts the wrench has to be 90 degrees to the steering box so you can't get any good leverage on the wrench.
Am I supposed to use flare nut attachments with a socket driver or am I supposed to remove the steering box from the car with the lines attached and remove them on the ground while lying under the car?
