pedal assy bracket

It looks like the pedal assy bracket is the same for 67 and 68 and different for the 69. 3918739 part for 67-8 and 3950064 for 69. Anybody know if they interchange, or what the difference is. Will the early bracket and pedals fit the 69?
Thank You
Charles

Red face Re: pedal assy bracket

Are we talking automatic or stick shift pedals ? On Classic Industries website, they show for an automatic that the pedal only is the same for 67-69's. They also show the complete assembly for 67-68. I can only assume the difference is in the mounting, as the 67-68's have the same dash and the 69's have a different dash.

Re: pedal assy bracket

I might be wrong (well probably wrong) but the 69 may have a bracket or mount for the neutral safety starter switch. 67s and 68s didn't have them.

Re: pedal assy bracket

@Charles Martin

Your friend may have already figured it out, but this part doesn't need to be swapped for the conversion to manual.
