Re: ride tech front shocks

What do you mean "crushing"? Are you running out of threads and can't get anymore height or what? What spring (LB) are you currently running? it is written on one end of the coils.

Re: ride tech front shocks

If im looking at it correctly they are 800lb springs. Having a hard time telling but it fells like the weight of the car is bottoming out the shock

Re: ride tech front shocks

Do you have 2" drop spindles? Do you have tubular control arms? Both of those will drop the car too low. My springs are 600# and they don't hardly compress at all. It is hard to think that with 800# springs it is actually crushing them. Sounds like something else is going on.....

You should not be able to adjust by hand. You need a spring nut adjustment tool to turn the adjustment nuts in the shock body.

How far from the bottom of the Shock is the nut now?

Re: ride tech front shocks

I was able to spin the nut up 1.5" by hand. I don't think they offer an adjustment wrench for there shocks.

Re: ride tech front shocks

If you have only tightened by hand then you are correct it is probably bottoming out the shock you need to use a wrench to compress the spring to ride height.
