Pitman Arm - Idler Arm Question

If I change from a long to a short pitman arm (to slow down my 12.7:1 PS box with the short steering arms), do I also need to change the idler arm? Is there a short idler arm to match a short pitman arm and vise-versa? The idler arm on the car now is the one that presumably matched the original fast ratio manual steering box that I replaced with the PS box. Thanks.

Replacement idler arms are mid- length, so they work with either length Pitman arm.
