Loosen up your subframe bushings, install your crossmember, then tighten your subframe bushings back up. It is common that the use of a persuader is needed if you don't loosen the subframe mounts, and that is with STOCK bushings.

The X is very tight with stock height bushings. It's obvious that 1/2 size bushing would cause this issue.

As above loosen the bolts enough to get the clearance need to install the X or buy a crossmember that bolts in.

So I can’t just loosen up the body bolts because I have welded in subframe connectors any recommendations on different crossmembers

Are the frame connectors welded to the floor? If not, back the bolts out and use the weight of the car to pull the back of the subframe down.
