Re: Rear lift - Adjustable rear shackle kit

when I bought my car in 72 it had shackles and lifted all the way for the slicks they were using.
I lowered mine to the last hole and been driving that way for 8 years
you are going to hear a lot of slack about your lifted 4x4 camaro

Its a shackle kit. The only thing we can know without knowing more about your back suspension is that your rear eye to rear mount dimension is going to change. The condition of your springs and whatever other hardware is under there will have an effect on it. You may or may not achieve what you're after.

The shackle kit will only lift until your shocks are fully extended. I got no lift from longer shackles on the Nova until I put shock extenders on the shocks.

Re: Rear lift - Adjustable rear shackle kit

Thanks for your feedback.

I will post a pic of my shackle situation tomorrow.

Its a 67 non-staggered shock setup without any lowering blocks, but with 68 multi leaf conversion and an oem traction bar on a 12 Bolt.

I know i would have to get shock extenders in the amount of lift to keep the suspension in its working window
