Cal Tracs 2301

Nice to see the prices coming down on these. They're $369 now. I'm very tempted, but I already have a set of Comp Engineering CE 2101 bars that I've been wanting throw on. I had to weld a shock mount back on that someone cut off and now I need to paint them. I'm planning on painting them yellow so they have the Lakewood look. I even have the Lakewood stickers, but I don't know if I'd go that far...
So... The question is do I paint the Comp Engineering to keep with my day 2 look or do I go for the kick a$$ Cal Tracs?

Re: Cal Tracs 2301

The Caltracs will perform better but the CEs will give you the day 2 look.

If you’re not tracking the car use the CEs and save the $.

You can always do the Caltracs later if not satisfied with the way the CEs work

That's kind of how I was leaning. I'd always heard the Caltracs were the way to go, but you're right. I think I'll be happier with the day two look. I'm going to try to throw the CEs on this weekend finally. I really need to do something. I hate having to get out of it every time I start to feel the axle hop. I don't want to break anything...

I appreciate the offer, but I'm going to stick with the CE bars I have.
