Has anyone used the Eaton stock 5 leaf replacement springs? I was wondering how high they are, pics would be great. I have a factory set in my 68 currently that have been de-arched 1 1/2" lower and it sits to low and rides too rough for my liking. I wanted to go back to a factory rear leaf spring to acheive the "day 2 " look..
Eaton said the factory replacement is ML5629- 89lb with an arch of 7 1/2"
There is another option to use their ML159 which is supposed to be for a BB convertible , 100lb with an 8-1/8" arch.. which would raise the ride height about 1/2" over the 5629
Im kind of torn on which to go with, since i dont know how "high" the factory ones actually sit
Has anyone used either of these springs from Eaton
Thanks
