Upper control arm bumpers

First of all my Motor/Clutch and Tranny are not installed (no weight on subframe). I first installed the Drivers side Upper and Lower control arm and connected my Spindle. I then let all the tension off the coil spring and noticed that I had forgotten the upper control arm bumper. The way everything sits at the moment there is no way to get that bumper in. Question is do I need to pull things apart now and install it, or will the be room once I put some weight on the subframe (will there be room)??

Re: Upper control arm bumpers

Once the front weight is in the frame. there will be room to install the bumper.

Dope the bumper teat with silicone grease or spray and pull the teat from the top side of the control arm. Its easier to pull then to push the bumper into the uca.
