Question shock mounts for 67-68

hi all, 67r/s
i'm new here and this is my question
on a 67 can you replace the lower shock mounts with mounts from a 68? shouldn't this move the shocks from in front of the axle to the more preferred staggered 68-69 setup ? or would there be a problem with the upper mounts?

thanks

Re: shock mounts for 67-68

Welcome to the forum!
The upper LH shock mounts on 67ís are exclusive to that year and both shocks will only mount in front of the axle.

I drove it for the first time in 1972 when I was 15.

Better looking than a '56 Ford or Plymouth.
