Unhappy Rotor and Bracket Clearance

Need some help. I am running out of hair to pull. I have new stock disc spindles from Rick's First Gen and purchased pro-street kit from Aerospace. I test fitted everything and the caliper bracket won't fit between the rotor and the spindle. The interference is at the bottom. The only way to fix this that I can see is grind down the lower mounting hole to provide clearance. This would also require me to remove the large spacer on the upper mount. I don't want to grind anything.

Anybody had a similar problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Rotor and Bracket Clearance

Is the brake caliper piston compressed all the way in? Slide the spacers over to get more room. Are you having trouble on both sides or just the one side? Compare the two calipers side by side and see if they are different in any way.
