lower control arm bumpers

hi guys I have a silly question, I stripped down my frame and noticed no lower control arm bumpers, or even any holes on the control arm to bolt it what gives? am I missing something

There should be 2 holes side byside one larger than the other. I just replaced mine with Energy Polyurthane red ones.

You are going to have to drill two holes on each control arm while it is off the car for the bumpers. The problem is getting them in the right spot. You might be able to measure another control arm with bumpers or even look at the repops at your local warehouse and write the dimensions down for the correct locations of the holes.

67 lower control arms don't have holes or bump stops, 68's have them on the back side of the control arm, 69's have them on the front side of the control arm.

Silly me, I forgot to ask the year of the car. If it's a 67, then the lower control arms do not have the bumpers. The bumpers are attached to the frame at the top. They only did it that way on the 67's. 68-69's have the bumper on the lower control arms.
