69 Power Steering Pump

Does anyone have a picture of a correct 69 Power Steering Pump. I bought a kit off ebay and the return line comes out the back in the center and then up at the 2 oclock position(from the front). It hits the head and I think the return line needs to come out the back on the right side. Is this correct?

Re: 69 Power Steering Pump

Are the BB and SB pump\reservoirs the same as far as how that upper\outer hose is pointing?

Re: 69 Power Steering Pump

The return line for the 69 Camaro needs to be low and to the outside.

It is a Corvette pump you have, or really just an early pump before 69. after that the pumps were mounted to the accessory holes in the head.
BB and SB were the same, the mounting position changed for 69.

The one in the auction above is what you need - very common.
His cap is wrong, for 69 you need the metal cap with the little ears.
That one that you have won't work.
