Ebay generic slide a links

Has anyone had any experience with the no name slide a link style kits on Ebay? They look to be a decent setup and are considerably cheaper. Maybe there are some more knowledgable people that can give me the headsup on whether they will work okay or not. Thanks.

Re: Ebay generic slide a links

I e-mailed the guy selling these on ebay asking him all the same questions. Who made them? Did he make them himself? What grade of metal were they made of. etc. He never answered me back , so I figured "Cavet Emptor", let the buyer beware, and I ended up ordering the Competition Engineering slide-a-links.First class product, first class materials, and easy to install. Yes, it is generally true that you get what you pay for.

Guys,

Jmho, but I do figure that cold-rolled plate and Grade-5, (or cold-rolled), shaft material should be fine, imho...

I would want DOM, (OR chrome-moly), tubing tho and Grade-8 nuts, bolts and washers too.

What's he selling them for??

I have to locate the crazy parts again. I did a number of searches on Ebay and no luck. I'll keep trying.

I bought a set. Ya you get what you pay for but when your raising 3 kids on a budget and want to finish the car and half price of CE's it was worth it to me. Their solid as for as construction and hardware just not CE's thats all. Even the bolt on connectors are from him too. I'm pretty sure they are an exact knock off of Ce's SFC. I have a pic. Remeber dirt in Hawaii is red and my dog kennles are next to the car so its red dirt thats all over the rear.
