Question Best place to buy new wheels?

I have narrowed it down to the polished American Racing Hopster 17x8 front and 17X9.5 rear for my 69 Camaro. Anyone know where I will get the best price on these wheels? Thanks

Re: Best place to buy new wheels?

I have the same setup as Softail02. But I got mine through Hot Rods Street Rod Parts& Acc. (store name on ebay) seller name of gonefishing69. Had them in 2 days no waiting for the custom rears. They were in stock. Talk to Karen - 1-800-731-4870. Cost was $1,069 with shipping and I had to pay tax since they are located in IA also. Also have the same tires as Softail. Got them from the Tire Rack. They are being delivered as I type. Again only 2 days from when I put in the order. They were very helpful in helping me decide on final tire size. My overall price looks also to be the same as Softail. So it may depend on where you live on shipping and/or tax. Can't wait to get home tonight!

Re: Best place to buy new wheels?

I purchased mine from Jon. He gave me the best deal I could find and had them in about 3 days from my purchase.....might want to give him a call to see what he can do for you.

Re: Best place to buy new wheels?

I could of had everything faster in time but then I had to deal with mounting and stuff. Most places around here will not mount NEW tires unless they sell them and then when you find the shop that will your paying $15-20 per tires. So for me being it 20 outside and going to snow tonight and the motor in on the out side of the fenders anyway to wait 3-4 weeks is no biggy, he is actually sending me the fronts first which helps as mine are flat. So thats something you might want to factor in when looking for rims i LOOK AT as $378 A RIM/TIRE/ ready to install with lugs included.

Re: Best place to buy new wheels?

As I mentioned earlier i purchased my TTO's from Jon and when they arrived I stopped off at Wheel Works about 4 blocks from the house and had them mount 4 BFG's TRW (not the "S" ones). Total cost (rims, tires, mounting, valves, etc) was about $1400. This included 2 each 235/45/17's up front and 2 each 255/45/17's for the rear.
