Drag Radials Rear Only?

Looking for any advise on whether to go with Nitto 555R for rear and Nitto 555 for front? Questing why would you want a drag radial forward on a Camaro? I'm looking for great cornering which is everyday driving vx launch which is 4 times a year. Any advise much appreciated.

Lightbulb Re: Drag Radials Rear Only?

Don't put drag radials on the front of your car unless you have a death wish. They are not made for handling. Also, don't mix bias-ply tires with radials. If you want the best of both worlds, buy another set of rear wheels, mount the drag radials on them, and put those on your car when you want to flog it at the strip! There are a lot of good radials that will give you good handling. How deep are your pockets, and how serious are you about going around corners fast?
