I like the look of this car & wanted to run a similar set-up. Please give me your best guessimates. I finally learned how to post pictures!

My guess is 19s on the rear and 18s on the front.

And maybe 255's in the front and 275's in the rear. My guess also.

I thought so too but I don't think TT2s come in 19".

I'll guess 18s front and rear. Now the hard part (the black trailer does not make this any easier) 7s in the front with 225/45s and 8s in the rear with 245/45s. This does not look like a max package to me. It looks conservative but there is really not a good picture to go by. As stated above no TTIIs in 19s.

Re: Help! Please guess what size tires & rims ***52K Warning***

From the side view (1st pic) in paintshop the wheels are 2 different sizes. My guess is 17's up front with 40 series tires and 18's out back with 45 series. Anything 17" and 35 series is too short IMO. I'm thinking 245/45-18's out back and 235/40-17 in the front..

If they are 17's up front that car is about 2 inches lower than my car which would amount to a 4" drop up front and 3.5" drop out back.

Looks similar to BadAss_SSRSís setup. Heís running:

American Racing TT2:s Polished
Front: 17 X 7 - bs: 4 - 225/45 R17
Rear: 17 X 9,5 - bs: 5,5 - 275/40 R17
Front: Lowered stock springs
Rear: Stock leafes with 1" lowering blocks
No minitube

Re: Help! Please guess what size tires & rims ***56K Warning***

I got in touch with the former owner of this car & found out the sizes.

Front: 18 x 7 235-40-18
Rear: 18 x 8 255-45-18

(Dennis, I guess the front tire is a little turned so that could account for the paintshop difference)

Thanks all for your help. One more question, isn't a 235 tire a bit tight on a 7" rim? Does this have any adverse effects?

Re: Help! Please guess what size tires & rims ***52K Warning***

235 on a 7" is not a stretch at all... I bet 80% of the '69s running 15"x7" rallys have 235s on the them.

I should have caught the wheels being turned some Kelvin, when I zoomed in on the wheels in paint shop I couldn't explain to myself why the trailing side of the front tire had a larger sidewall than the leading side. I wrote it off as distoration from zooming in...

Sounds like you know what to run now, your car will look killer with that combo...

Re: Help! Please guess what size tires & rims ***52K Warning***

I agree that is probably true but that's with a 60 series tire but how about a 40 series tire?

Re: Help! Please guess what size tires & rims ***52K Warning***

235 is the width of the tire, the 60, 40 etc is the percentage of width the sidewall is it doesn't change the width... Height of the wheel and width are the important factors in fit. Check www.tirerack.com or other site that lets you compare. Example: a 235/40-18 is 25.5" tall and a 235/60-15 is 26.1" tall and both have a section width of 9.5" on a 7" wide wheel. By all logic the 18" is a smaller package and would have more clearence.
