Re: chrome rims

i think frequent washing is the norm. you could try low-dust brake pads. some even use brake shields, but i think they look silly and inhibit the cooling airflow. a good waxing product may keep the dust from sticking...

Re: chrome rims

i understand that washing them regularly is the best but i just bought it 3 weeks ago and he didnt do a very good job keeping up on the rims so the dust doesnt seem to come off with just soap and water, i havent tried pressure washing them, will that hurt the chrome? i also agree that the covers just dont look right and i dont want to be nasty but i didnt think the second post was necessary because like i said i just bought the car 3 weeks ago and i am trying to get it back to the way it should look, i was looking for an answer more along the lines of a special cleaner or polish because the buildup is bad and wont just wash off i would appreciate any more help i could get and i really do enjoy this site and camaros

How about the Mother's powerball mini, with that "powermetal" polish? http://www.mothers.com/products/prod...ower_prod.html

I've never used one myself but if I were in your situation I think that's what I'd try. Good luck.
