Re: What do you think of the new wheels?

The before pic looks more muscle to me. What is the size on your old ones, is it 15x7s with 235 60's and 255 60's on back

I like the new wheels. What brand and size are they? Gives your car a different look to it, plus if you keep both you can switch depending on your mood.

Re: What do you think of the new wheels?

Old ones are all 15x7's with 225/60's and 255/60's.
New ones are 17x7's and 18x8's with 235/45's and 255/45's.
Wheels are Coys with the gun metal gray center and polished lip.

I gotta go with the rally's, too....
I just don't think that 17-18" wheels look good on these old cars...
but hey, it's just my opinion, right?

Very nice! I've been eyeballing almost the exact same set of rims for my '69. I think you just sold me on 'em.

Wow....I was glad to scroll down and see that others like their cars to look tough. I can't stand the stance of the 1st gens from the factory. You can cruise at night and win the local mud bogs in the daytime. lol

2/3 might be a bit much though to lower......I think even an inch to inch+half all the way around would be a huge improvement.

Hard to beat the GM rally's!!!!! I think it's the best looking muscle car wheel ever made. I run a custom set on my '68 C-10 project.
