Need wider Centerline Warrior front wheels. HELP

I just bought a 67 with 2" drop spindles. On the front is a 15X4 Centerline Warrior. I need to go wider up front because for street driving the donuts follow the grooves of the road too well. I need a wider contact patch.

It looks like my options are 15x7 with a 3 3/8 or 5" BS or 15x5.5 with 3 3/8" BS. I believe a 15x8 with 4.5" BS would be too big for a lowered car.

The fitment of the current 15x4 (BS ?) 26x7.5x15 diameter is perfect with no rubbing.

Will these backspaces fit ?

They make a 15x7 with 5" BS. How would that fit on a car lowered 2"

you may have a problem with tire clearance and the drop spindle. search drop spindle here and read this site:

i've got 15x8's all around, and it handles better than any first gen I've driven.

W/ a lowered car its doubtful they'd fit.

What if I got the 15x7, 3.375" bs and used a spacer to get the total 4" BS

you can't use a spacer to add bs. you can use a spacer to decrease bs.

OK, so I could get the 15x7 with 5" BS and get a one inch spacer to get the 4" BS I need?

Re: Need wider Centerline Warrior front wheels. HELP

Any idea what would work better.
1) 15x7 w/ 3 3/8 BS
2) 15x7 w/ 5" BS and 1 inch spacer

I could always buy one and try it
