Tire Help Please

What series of tire such as 25, 30, 35 would fit a 14" rim?
Is there a 26-27" tall mtire that would fit this?
It will go on a 20" rim
TIA

You've got me confused (not hard to do ). Can you clarify what you're asking? 14" wheels usually have high profile tires on them...like, 60 & 70 series and up. I think original Camaro 14" wheels sported 195/75/14...or something like that. A 27" tire would be high profile (60's + series) on 15" wheels.

Learning & Relearning about the cars I grew up with.

Re: Tire Help Please

I apologize for that. I have found a set of 20x14 rims and I dont want a 30 or 31" tall tire. More like a 26 or so? i also dont want a slick.
TIA

Re: Tire Help Please

I think you're SOL. I can't even think of a tire that would fit on a 14" wide rim. I figure the bead is about 15" wide, which = 385mm. If you're looking for a 26" tall tire, that'd be 6" of sidewall, which is 3" on each side of the rim. 3" = 76mm, so you'd be looking for an aspect ratio of 76/385 ~ 20%.

So all you need to do is find a 385/20R20 and you're all set.....

Can you find anything other than tractor trailer tires to fit a 14" wide rim?????

Re: Tire Help Please

thats what I was afraid of. To go with that rim everything I found was at least 30-31"s tall. I appreciate it a bunch.. Back to the 12" wide hunt again....
