Original Tires ????

I was thinking about putting repro goodyears or firestones on my car. I have a lot of friends that say it will drive like ****. I remember in the old days I put radials on my 66 buick and it was like a new car.

I like the way original tires look and they are correct. I drive my car about 5000 miles a year. My question is how does does the 1969 drive with them and what size would I use? I have 15X7 rally in front and 15X8 rear.

Is Coker Tire a good place to get them or somewhere else.

THANKS

I have a set of Goodyear polyglass repop Coker tires which are bias-ply on my '70 Z/28 and I will say they drive like crap.I only use them for taking pictures.
