Anyone buy there wheels and tires this way? The one where you buy the rims and tires from them and they ship them mounted and ready to go.I am thinking about it. I'm wondering if it is still free shipping or do they charge because the size of the tires

Before you buy a wheel/tire package from Summit give these guys a call http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/?referrer=teamcamaro many members have used them and I don't remember anybody not being satisfied. Do a search on them and you can read more about them.

I'll second the newstalgia.

I ordered my TTII's and received everything withing a week. Mounted, balanced, and cheaper than anywhere else, plus they are a sponsor of the site.

Re: Tire package from Summit?

I'd like to "3rd" newstagiawheel, but I can't. That is, if you search locally you might very well find better prices (including paying tax). I did. For instance, I paid less than $450 for Nitto Extreme 555's (235/45/17 & 255/45/17). I don't know of anywhere on-line that could touch this price. Custom back spaced TTII's were approx. $1170 w/tax. Added together, I think that'll beat newstagiawheel's package price....but I could be wrong. Shop around.

Learning & Relearning about the cars I grew up with.

Re: Tire package from Summit?

Thanks everyone, I have been looking for a while and also checked the ones listed above and Summit is still cheaper. Guess I'll stick with them.
Thanks, John

Re: Tire package from Summit?

A couple of years ago i bought 4 Cragar SS rims and 4 BFG's from Summit. All mounted, balanced and 30 lbs. of air. Shipped by truck right to my door, with not a mark on them. The price was right and I got free shipping. I was very happy with Summit.
