plain jane 69 camaro wheels?

Is there a wheel other than the xt code 69 camaro "copo" whell that is identical in appearance? This is the wheel that takes the dog dish hubcap. I need a set for a FAST class race car and just trying to save a few bucks. I do see this mentioned a bunch in searh function but hoping to ge a accurate wheel.

There are 14x7 steel wheels for the 75-80 Nova cop cars that are close. Cant recall the stamping code at the minute.

UC is the stamping on the Nova cop car wheels. Also used on Camaro in 1975 and maybe later.

Re: plain jane 69 camaro wheels?

Back spacing is 4 1/2 inches from the rear mounting surface to the extreme back edge of a XT rim. 8 1/4 inches overall from extreme front edge to the extreme back edge of rim. Dug one out of a pile and measured it to be sure. I'll measure other code 14x7's if you'd like more info.

Just for the information, "IF" code 14x7 wheels are identical to "XT" wheels. Mostly found on 69-70 Pontiacs, Grand Prix, Tempest, GTO.

IF coded wheels are also 69 Camaro 14x7 as documented by CRG and the build sheet off my 11B Van Nuys built RS/SS

Wheel code info is in the back of Alan Colvin's Chevrolet by the Numbers books.

No "SC" wheels listed through 1975 for Chevy but it might be from a comparable Buick, Olds or Pontiac.

I forget what year GM made them, but I think there are 3-dog-knot chrome baby moons w/ the Bowtie Logo on them!

Re: plain jane 69 camaro wheels?

Hi, i purchased aset of IF wheels for my 69 camaro copo zl1 look alike Today i test fit the wheels on my car. They dont clear the caliper brackets. Any idea if repo caliper brackets are different? Im hoping to try on friends 69 z28 soon to see. These should fit a stock 69 camaro correct disc brake setup ..right? I thought i did my homweork right. seeing a zl1 took xt wheels and required power disc brakes and a IF and xt are the same?? I am guessing that the repo disc brake brackets are the offenders.
Anybody have apic of backside of XT wheeels showing caliper bracket clearance to wheel?
