Cool 15x8's for a 78 sport coupe

I just got a new set of rims for my 78 camaro. They look awesome, but... The rear tires (on the 15x8's) come extremely close to the edge of the wheel well. I'm worried about the tire rubbing on the well. Does anyone have any idea on how to resolve this issue. This car is all original with 14 inch stock rims and chrome hub caps. I'm not sure what to do. would putting air shocks on the rear get rid of it?? what do you think?

Other then modifying the Wheel Well Lips I would sell your current rear wheels and buy another set with say 1" deeper Off Set. You can get pretty darn close to the inner wall of the wheel tub and shackle springs; however, you tend to limit room for large Tail Pipes.

I run 15 X 8 Vette Rims on the front with T/A P235/70R15 and T/A P295/50R15 on 15 X 10 rims on the rear. I did not want to tub for loosing Rear PSGR space and did not want to loose space for large dia Tail Pipes so I Flared which has to be done right or it looks like Crap. It takes a lot of Work and Purists would criticize me but it's my Camaro ))
