15X7 rally wheel paint

I have a set of 15X7 rally wheels that have been sand blasted and now need paint. They are going on a 69 coupe and I would like to know what is the best way of preping and painting these wheels. Eastwood has a kit but I do not know if its a good one? Should I use for a primer on these wheels, etc. Any help with this project would be great. Thanks Steve

Similar question here.
https://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=124535

I had mine sand blasted. 3 of the 4 in the set I had done turned out perfect. One had some very slight pitting (Even less noticable with the centers and rings on), so I am on the hunt for another to have it done. It's not the "correct" paint to use. But I used the Rustoleum primer and top coated with Argent Silver on the front and insides. I used flat black on the back.
Hope this helps.

Depending on what kind of durability and cost you are after I'd also suggest looking in to powdercoating them. Powdercoating would be the "better" way and Havin' Fun's method is a great strategy for working on a budget. Try using this auto forum search engine for getting an idea of what powercoating costs should run you and put that against the old fashioned way and see what appeals to you.

Krylon Dull Aluminum #1403 is a perfect match for the paint.
