Narrowing factory rims

I've got some late 70's factory Z/28 rims thta I'd like to narrow down to 5", so i can run a 185 series tire up front. I can't find anybody locally (San Antonio) that will touch this project, probably for liability reasons. Anybody have experience with having this done or recommend a business? I've already tried Wheels America and those type of outfits, no luck.

Re: Narrowing factory rims

A lot of circle car racers have their wheels narrowed or widened. There's probably someone in your local area that does it.

The only reason someone would want insurance is if they want to pay someone elses bills or want someone else to pay their bills.
